Definition Paragraph

Constellations are group of stars in the sky that has different forms. A constellation can be an animal, a person or anything depending on the stargazers point of view. Constellations are made up of stars that have different sizes, brightness and color. Different constellations become visible at different time of the year as the earth travels around the sun. There are so many constellations and the most famous is the group of zodiac. Zodiac is the band of constellations the earth appears to pass during the year.

Process paragraph

Constellations are made up of different kinds of stars. Stars are being born all the time. They start their lives in a star-nursery called clusters. This is a huge spinning cloud of gases and dust. The stars that have been born may be a part of a new or an old constellation. They may also vanish in time, this happens when a star has reach its biggest form and become a red giant and lose all of its power. The red giant will star to shrink down into a white dwarf and soon lose its hotness and become a black dwarf or a cold black cinder then disappear.

Enumeration paragraph

Zodiac is the band of constellations that the earth appears to pass in front during the year, as the Earth orbits the sun. The Ancient Greek divided the zodiac into parts named after the constellation they saw in each part. The twelve constellations of the zodiac are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.

Compare and contrast

A star unlike the planet has its own light. The planets seemed to have its own light when we see it in the night sky because we could see the sun light’s reflection from it. Since a star is composed of different burning gases it produces light of its own. If we will try to notice their appearance in the night sky we will be able to distinguish which is which. A planet does not twinkle unlike a star. Both of them are used in finding locations and have many uses.

Cause and Effect

A star can vanish in time. When a star reach its biggest  and hottest form called the red giant and it will begin to lose its power and shrink down into a white dwarf but still very hot. Soon it will become a cold black cinder or black dwarf. This happens because the star has already used all its power and energy. It will continue to shrink and cool down until it completely vanish in space.

Narration Paragraph

Long ago people used to ignore the tiny little dots in the night sky. What people only care about is their way of living, how to gather food and have a safe and comfortable shelter. Until one day a fisherman finally notice a tiny dot in the night sky. This dot is always at the same direction where he always catch a lot of fish. Since then people started using stars to locate a certain place and start to get interested with the stars. Finally, people learned to leave their laives with the help of stars.

Description Paragraph

When you look in the night sky you’ll see a bright twinkling star. A star is actually round when you will look at it in the outer space but it appears to be like the star shape that we draw in papers. A star is composed of different burning gases which makes it very hot and bright. This stars made up the constellations that we see in the night sky. Constellations are the different forms that we could imagine by simply connecting the stars in the night sky.

Division Paragraph

Seasonal constellations are constellations associated with a particular season. We have four seasons here on earth this are the winter, summer, fall, and spring. Winter constellations are Orion, the great hunter; Taurus, the bull; and Canis major, the big dog. Spring constellations are Gemini, the twins; Leo, the lion; Bootes, the herdsman; and Ursa major, the great bear. Summer constellations are Lyra, the  harp; Cygnus, the swan; and Aquila, the eagle. And Fall constellations are Cassiopeia, Andromeda, Perseus, and Pegasus.

Exemplification Paragraph

A star appears to twinkle in the night sky but the truth is that stars does not really twinkle. stars only appear to do so because of the refraction experienced by its light as it travels through the earth’s atmosphere. For example a flashlight is opened against the wall with a glass in front of it. lets say that the flashlight is the star, the glass is the earth’s atmosphere and the wall is a man. if you’ll observe the light from the flash light will refract and scatter. it is same way as we view a star it will appear like twinkling.

Argumentative Paragraph

Is the sun a star? Many people miss interpret the real identity of our sun. Some people thinks that the sun is different from a star because it is very big, hot and does twinkle much and some say that the sun is in deed a star because of having the same characteristics. If we will base it in the studies in astronomy there is no dough that the sun is a star because it is made up of different burning gases, produce its own light and many more but, if we will base on the opinions of people we might also get carried away because of many different sensible ideas created by human minds. All in all our sun is a star in a form of the red giant.
